NEW SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

Effective Oct. 1, 2021, all guests and employees of SIGA Casinos are required to provide proof of full vaccination or a recent negative COVID-19 test result in order to access gaming areas, restaurants, event centers, and corporate offices. This change is being implemented in compliance with the public health order issued by the Chief Medical Health Officer. Guests who do not provide proof of full vaccination or a recent negative COVID-19 test result will be denied entry.

What does fully vaccinated mean?

For the purpose of this process, “fully vaccinated” means the guest has received the recommended number of doses of COVID-19 vaccine, or combination of COVID-19 vaccines approved by Health Canada, and 14 or more days have passed since the guest received the last of the recommended number of doses.

What is acceptable proof of vaccination?

Guests must show proof of full vaccination in order to gain entry to SIGA Casinos. For Saskatchewan residents, acceptable proof of full vaccination includes a COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate available from MySaskHealthRecord or the wallet card received at the time of COVID-19 vaccination.

What if I’m fully vaccinated but visiting the casino from out-of-province or out-of-country?

For the purposes of out-of-province or out-of-country guests, SIGA Casinos will accept similar COVID-19 Vaccination Certificates or passports issued by other provincial, territorial or national governments.

What if I have one dose from a required two-dose vaccine, can I still enter a SIGA Casino?

If you are not fully vaccinated you are unable to enter a SIGA Casino without first providing proof of a negative COVID-19 test result. The negative COVID-19 test must be valid within 72 hours from when the guest requests to gain access to the casino property.

If I have proof of a negative COVID-19 test, can I enter a SIGA Casino?

Yes, guests can gain entry to SIGA Casinos with proof of a negative COVID-19 test. What if I took a COVID-19 home test? Can I still enter the casinos?

What do I do if I don’t want to disclose my full vaccination status or show proof of a negative COVID-19 test?

What if I have a pre-existing condition/compromised immune system and I’m unable to get vaccinated?

Guests with a pre-existing condition or a compromised immune system are required to present proof of a negative COVID-19 test in order to gain entry to a SIGA Casino. The test must have been obtained from an approved Saskatchewan provider or from an out-of-province or out-of-country testing site with an accompanying proof of negative COVID-19 test certificate. The negative COVID-19 test must be valid within 72 hours from when the guest requests to gain access to the casino property.

Do I need to show government-issued ID with my proof of full vaccination or negative COVID-19 test?

Yes, guests of SIGA Casinos are required to show government-issued ID along with their proof of full vaccination or negative COVID-19 test.

HEALTH AND SAFETY MEASURES

Yes, as per the Public Health Measure effective October 1, 2021, all guests and staff are required to show proof of full vaccination (two doses) or show a recent negative test result completed by a certified healthcare professional. Along with matching government issued identification, acceptable forms of vaccination proof include your printed or digital record or QR code, or your paper wallet card received at the time of vaccination.

“Fully-vaccinated”, with respect to an individual who resides in Saskatchewan or who resides in another jurisdiction, means that:
1. the individual has received the recommended number of doses of a COVID-19 vaccine, or combination of COVID-19 vaccines, approved by Health Canada; and
2. 14 or more days have passed since the individual received the last of the recommended number of doses.
Note: If providing proof-of-negative test they must have received a negative COVID-19 test administered within the previous 72 hours.

All employees and guests are required to wear a mask at all SIGA locations, including all casino properties.

We will ask guests to briefly remove their masks for identification purposes when entering casinos.

Players can remove their masks temporarily while consuming food or beverages. Otherwise, masks are mandatory at all times while inside any facilities.

At this time, SIGA is unable to accept medical exemption cards for face masks, as we are unable to provide safe accommodation where individuals would be continuously physically distanced from others within SIGA facilities.

Occupancy restrictions have been lifted and the casino has returned to pre-pandemic capacity regulations.

Physical distancing is encouraged and barriers will remain between most slot machines.

All guests will be required to register at a kiosk upon entering the casino. The purpose is to assist with contact tracing in the event of potential exposure of COVID-19. Guests have four options:

1. If you are an existing Players Club Member, simply swipe your Club card at the kiosk

2. You can become a new member for free, plus receive $10 in free play. Show ID, then swipe your new Club card at the kiosk

3. If you do not wish to become a member, you can opt for an AccessCard. Show ID and we will collect your first name, last name, and phone number. Then, swipe your new card at the kiosk. Your card will not work in slot machines and you will not receive points or Club benefits

4. Show ID and we will record your first name, last name, phone number, and time of entry/exit

These will be cleaned at a minimum every four hours. Guests will also have access to disinfecting wipes to use as often as they like.

We use proven effective disinfectants approved for use by the government of Saskatchewan, containing a minimum of 70% alcohol (EP50 – EP66), as well as Lysol wipes, aqueous Ozone, and soap/water.

Yes, all guests are welcome given they have adhered to federal travel regulations, if applicable.

We have increased the fresh air intake in all our Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning systems.

All slot machines are available to play. Masks can be temporarily removed while you enjoy food or a beverage.

Live table games are available at most SIGA Casinos. ‘The Circuit’ electronic table games are available at all SIGA Casinos.

The casino restaurants, bars, and delis are open. In addition, guests are permitted to eat and drink while gaming.

All public health orders issued by the Saskatchewan Chief Medical Health Officer will apply to events hosted at SIGA Casinos. Refunds will be temporary permitted up to three days before the ticketed event.

If you have purchased tickets to a SIGA show that has been postponed, your tickets will be valid for the future rescheduled date. If you would like a ticket refund, your options include:

• If you purchased your tickets by credit card online or in-person, please call or visit the Box Office for a refund

• If you purchased your tickets by debit card or cash, please visit the casino Box Office for a refund

Smoking is permitted in the designated sections of our casinos.
